Harrison Memorial Medal

The Harrison Memorial Medal is awarded to a pharmacist who has a distinguished career in advancing science and practice of pharmacy. It commemorates Lieutenant-Colonel Frank Harrison, an eminent pharmaceutical chemist and analyst who was appointed Director of Chemical Warfare in 1918. The person to whom the award is made will deliver the Harrison Memorial Lecture on a subject relating to the science and practice of pharmacy, and will receive the medal in silver. From 1998 onwards, the lecture has been delivered at the British Pharmaceutical Conference.
