Harrison Memorial Medal |

The Harrison Memorial Medal
is awarded to a pharmacist who has a distinguished career in advancing
science and practice of pharmacy. It commemorates Lieutenant-Colonel Frank
Harrison, an eminent pharmaceutical chemist and analyst who was appointed
Director of Chemical Warfare in 1918. The person to whom the award is made
will deliver the Harrison Memorial Lecture on a subject relating to the
science and practice of pharmacy, and will receive the medal in silver.
From 1998 onwards, the lecture has been delivered at the British
Pharmaceutical Conference. |
